LA FASHION WEEK TAKES A LEAD!

      The Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall collections took place March 13-19, 2011.  LA fashion week is held twice a year in October and March and is a week long festival for the "fashionably Independent". Vendors across Los Angeles display their work and show their collections on the runway. The desighners are well and ready to create a vivid image of the fashion industy. One of the biggest events that happened during fashion week was the Fall 2011 Los Angeles Fashion Market at the California Market Center on March 14 2011. The event welcomed thousands of retailers from from around the world to chose tradeshow, focus apparel and accessories show etc. The retailers included Revolve, Bloomingdales, Macys, Nordstrom, Kitson, Wendy Foster, Hautelook.com, Metro Park, Modcloth, Nasty Gal, Ambiance, Cusp, H. Lorenzo, Johns (Tokyo), Kai Lani (Tokyo), Kenex (Sapporo-Shi), Libertine (Vancouver), Moule (Vancouver), The Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, Philippe Derey, Tootsies, Piperlime, Betsy & Tracy, Bettina Duncan at Fred Segal, Boulmiche, Faze Co Ltd (Tokyo), Forever 21, Firefly, Harari, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, etc. This was the reason why the Fashion Theater displayed a sold out floor of upmarket contemporary brands. The exhibitors included Twinkle by Wenlan, Whitley Kros, Ai for Ai, Sam Edelman, Azaara, Boutique 9, Gorjana, Linea Pelle, Magaschoni Apparel, Sophie Monet Jewelry, VOOM by Joy Han etc. Many came for support and for work in the fashion industry.
